Panacea (萬能之計)

去年，一項研究報告指出，維生素 C對治療傷風的功效不大。1970年代的諾貝爾獎得主鼓勵大家每天攝取1000毫克維生素 C，但 Hemila 說維生素C不是靈丹妙藥，但它並非沒有用。Vitamin C is not a panacea, but it is not useless either。

Panacea是「萬能之計、靈丹妙藥」的意思。其他例子：Technology is not a panacea for all our problems是「技術並非靈丹妙藥，不能解決我們一切問題」，Higher public spending is not a panacea for all our social problems是「增加公共開支不是解決我們所有社會問題的萬能之計」。
