Disproportionate 是「不相稱」的意思。它是形容詞，其他例子：There are a disproportionate number of men compared to women in the legal profession 是「從事法律專業的人中，男士比女士的數量多得不相稱」，The sentence is disproportionate to the alleged offence 是「判刑與涉嫌的罪行不相稱」。
